Support for Communities

YSS Lafwa’s foundation is built on community service. Whether that’s doing back to school drives, social justice campaigns , or even pay it forward programs. We strive to do the work in our community. Community is everything and we want to ensure that we can do everything in our power to give to those in need.

If you would like to come support us or know more about future community service opportunities please do not hesitate to contact us.

Save Haiti Initiative

Haiti is a country that has been long troubled by natural disasters, political injustice, violence and poverty issues. Our goal is to help reduce poverty levels on the island and make living conditions better for inhabitants. We aim to assist the local community leaders in the country, provide resources for people, and strongly endorse peace within the Haitian community.

  1. Thousands of Haitians have been forced to flee their homes due to gang violence. 540 people were kidnapped and more than 780 were killed between January and May 2022.

  2. Widespread Hunger is becoming increasingly worse. Almost one third of the country does not have access to nutritional food and essential necessities.

  3. Haiti has faced persistent gas shortages because the government cannot pay for fuel shipments. Over the stretch of 2022 the gas shortages have been at its highest peak. Generators are a source of electricity for households and businesses in Haiti and no fuel means that they cannot run efficiently.
